About us
Restoring faces, building expertise locally
Together, we are establishing maxillofacial prosthetics laboratories at Syrian universities to give patients back their facial features and their normal lives — and training generations of specialists who will carry this responsibility forward through sustained effort.
Our vision
Establishment of specialist laboratories in the field of maxillofacial prosthetics; training of local specialists; utilising national experience and expertise; promoting scientific research in Syria; and strengthening scientific cooperation and exchange with international universities
We achieve this by manufacturing facial and jaw prostheses that combine clinical expertise with technical innovation – they are individually tailored to each patient and are made from medical-grade materials such as silicone or acrylic, which are colour-matched to the patient’s skin tone.
Our mission is to empower local medical staff through specialised training programmes – supported by specialists from several countries – in order to ensure the exchange of knowledge and technology transfer, and to provide sustainable medical care that is in line with the latest developments in the field worldwide.
How the cooperation worksWhat that means in practice

What are maxillofacial prostheses?
Maxillofacial prostheses are artificial replacements for missing parts of the face or jaw, such as the ear, nose or eye. They are made from acrylate or medical silicone and can be tailored to match the patient's skin colour and shape. They are intended for people who have been disfigured by war, tumours, or congenital malformations.
Between 2015 and the end of July 2026, around 1,600 patients received maxillofacial prostheses. A new count began in August 2026 and is shown below.
